STOP THE BLEED®

Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. That’s why bleeding control—keeping the blood inside the body—is the purpose of STOP THE BLEED® training. With 3 quick actions, you can be trained to save a life.

Capable Community

Capable Community Courses are practical, action-oriented trainings designed to help individuals, families, and organizations build real-world resilience. Grounded in emergency management principles and everyday risk awareness, these courses move beyond theory to focus on preparedness, decision-making, and capability building. Participants learn how to identify risks, plan for disruptions, and take confident action before, during, and after emergencies—strengthening not just themselves, but the communities they are part of.
